AFFM is going to try for a meeting between Government and Workers .The popular News (2014 May 14)
Mr. Michael mentioned that AFFM will try to meet Government officials from Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation ministers and Deputy Minister of labor, employment and social security. And hold discussions based on workers and farmers full benefits and the laws for protecting their rights. These points will be the main aim for this meeting.
According to AFFM Constitution they do not support workers going on strike, which at times turns into bad behavior of the strikers. So AFFM prefers for a social dialogue which will resolve issues in a fair manner. Since Myanmar at present is practicing freedom of Association, the registration process without unnecessary delays.In conclusion AFFM was founded on 25th out 2011 and spoke about their future plans and aims.

Mr. Mudzakir, Chairperson API and Mr. Sophal Uon, Chairperson AFA through faclitators Esther Penunia, Seceratry General of AFA welcomed the participants who were around 50 from 12 countries holding different positions. The participants and upcoming members of AFA exchanged and shared their ideas regarding
through presentations and discussing about Young Farmers in Globalize as well as Regional Sectors. The young participant put up their proposals for attracting youths in Agriculture such as regional proposal for youth, youth budget increment, and policy to focus more on youth.

Agriculture and Farmers Federation Myanmar (AFFM) On 2014 April 8 th and 9 th together with Federation of Trade Unions Myanmar (FTUM) and Japan NPO Center (NPO) conducted a combined Workshop at Daik- U Township (Pa Aung Su Village) on Agriculture Work and Work place conditions.
A total of 60 attendees took part in this workshop, the participants had come from 5 townships ( Shwe Kyin, Daik-U, Pyun Tasar, Nyaung Lay Bin, Kyauk TaDa) consisting of 7 basic trade Unions. The aim of this workshop was to systematically plant and improvise yield of paddy, pulses, vegetables and fruits, Depending on weather conditions, if lack of rain the farmers need to depend water supply from Dam , and also how to produce Organic Fertilizer and the proper usage of Chemical for plants.

On 2014 April 4 th and 5 th Agriculture and Farmers Federation Myanmar (AFFM), Federation of Trade Unions Myanmar (FTUM) and Japan NPO Center (NPO) conducted a combined Workshop at Daik- U Township on Agriculture Work and Work place conditions.
၂၀၁၄ခုနစ္ ဧျပီလ(၄-၅)ရက္ေန႕တြင္ ျမန္မာနုိင္ငံအလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳဳပ္ (FTUM)၊ ျမန္မာနုိင္ငံ ေတာင္သူ လယ္သမားႏွင့္ စိုက္ပ်ဳိးေရး အလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ား အဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ (AFFM)၊ အာရွ လူမႈဖလွယ္ေရးစင္တာ(Japan NPO Center)တို႕ ပူးေပါင္း ေဆာင္ရြက္ေသာ လယ္ယာလုပ္ငန္း၊ လုပ္ငန္းခြင္ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲအား ဒိုက္ဦးျမိဳ႕နယ္ (ဥသွ်ဥ္ကုန္း ေက်းရြာ) တြင္ ျပဳလုပ္က်င္းပခဲ့သည္။ ထုိသင္တန္းတြင္ ျမိ႕နယ္ (၅)ျမိဳ႕နယ္မွ ( ေရႊက်င္၊ ဒိုက္ဦး၊ ျပိဳင္တန္ဆာ၊ ေညာင္ေလးပင္၊ ေက်ာက္တံတား) အေျခခံသမဂၢအဖြဲ႕ေပါင္း (၂၆)ဖြ႕ဲမွ အဖြဲ႕၀င္ သင္တန္းသား (၁၀၁)ဦး တတ္ေရာက္ၾကသည္။
A total of 101 attendees took part in this workshop, the participants had come from 5 townships ( Shwe Kyin, Daik-U, Pyuntazar, Nyaung Lay Bin, Kyauktagar) consisting of 26 basic trade Unions. The aim of this workshop was to systematically plant and improvise yield of better quality of paddy, pulses, vegetables and fruits, by performing soil test that will suit the best type for plantation, and also how to produce Organic Fertilizer and the proper usage of Chemical for plants.
