- ျမန္မာနုိင္ငံ အလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ (FTUM)ရုံးခ်ဳပ္တြင္ FTUM-UAZENSEN-ITUC တို႕ ပူးေပါင္းေဆာင္ရြက္၍ Union Movement and Basic CBA Training Course(သမဂၢလႈပ္ရွားမႈႏွင့္ CBA ဆုိင္ရာ၏အေျခခံသင္တန္း) ကို ၂၀၁၄ခုနစ္ ေမလ (၂၄-၂၅)ရက္ေန႔၌ ျပဳလုပ္က်င္းပသည္။ ထုိသင္တန္းတြင္ FTUMအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္အဖြဲ႕၀င္ သမဂၢအဖြဲ႕ေပါင္း(၂၁)ဖြဲ႕မွ အလုပ္သမားသမဂၢေခါင္းေဆာင္မ်ားႏွင့္ အဖြဲ႕၀င္မ်ားပါ၀င္ေသာ စုစုေပါင္းသင္တန္းသား/သူဦးေရ (၂၃)ဦးတက္ေရာက္ခဲ့ပါသည္။ ေဆြးေႏြးေသာ အေၾကာင္းအရာမ်ားမွာ စုေပါင္းညႇိႏႈိင္းအေရးဆိုရာတြင္ အသုံးျပဳမည့္အသိပညာ နည္းပညာမ်ားအျပင္ ကုန္ထုတ္စြမ္းအား ျမွင့္တင္ေရး၏ အေရးပါမႈမ်ားျဖစ္ပါသည္။

Over
1500 trade unionists from 161 countries will gather at the Berlin City
Cube in Berlin, Germany from May 18 to 23 for the 3rd International
Trade Union Confederation World Congress which takes place every four
years. The ITUC is the largest democratic organization in the world representing 325 national trade unions and working people all over the world.
FTUB now known as FTUM was formed in 1991 and with the cooperation of
ITUC has been working on workers issues, and in 2009 became a member of
ITUC. General Secretary Mr. MaungMaung from (FTUM) will attendthe 3rd
International Trade Union Confederation World Congress as the
representative from Myanmar.
The opening speech on the first day of
conference will be made by Foreign Minister FrankWalter Steinmeier,
Helen Clark, UNDP Administrator, representing the United Nations.
Special guests include this congress who former professional footballers
AbdeslamOuaddou and ZahirBelounis who was trapped in Qatar for 17
months; Gordon Brown MP, UN Special Envoy for Global Education; Jay
Naidoo, Chairman of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition and a
former Minister in the Mandela Cabinet; Professor OzlemOnaran, Professor
of Workforce and Economic Development Policy at University of
Greenwich; Larry Elliott, Guardian Economics Editor; and Jayati Ghosh,
Professor of Economics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.
အျပည္ျပည္ဆိုင္ရာအလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ (ITUC)၏တတိယအၾကိမ္ေျမာက္ ညီလာခံအား ၂၀၁၄ခုနစ္၊ေမလ၁၈ရက္မွ၂၃ရက္ေန႕ အထိဂ်ာမဏီနုိင္ငံဘာလင္ျမိဳ႕တြင္ျပဳလုပ္က်င္းပမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ ITUCသည္ဒီမိုကေရစီနည္းက်ဖြဲ ့စည္းထားေသာကမၻာေပၚရိွအႀကီးမားဆံုးေသာ အဖြဲ ့အစည္းႀကီးျဖစ္ျပီး ကမၻာႏိုင္ငံအသီးသီးမွႏိုင္ငံလံုးဆိုင္ရာအဆင့္ရိွေသာအလုပ္သမားသမဂၢအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ေပါင္း (၃၂၅)ဖြဲ႕ပါ၀င္သည့္ အဖြဲ႕အစည္းႀကီးလည္းျဖစ္ပါသည္။ITUCသည္နုိင္ငံေပါင္း (၁၆၁)နုိင္ငံမွအဖြဲ ့၀င္ (၁၇၆)သန္းႏွင့္ကမၻာ့အလုပ္သမားထုႀကီး အား ကိုယ္စားျပဳေသာ အဖြဲဲ႕အစည္းလည္းျဖစ္ပါသည္။ITUC ညီလာခံကိုေလးႏွစ္တစ္ၾကိမ္က်င္းပျခင္းျဖစ္ျပီး ယခုႏွစ္တြင္ႏိုင္ငံေပါင္း(၁၆၁)နိုင္ငံမွအဖြဲ႕၀င္ အလုပ္သမားအေရး ေဆာင္ရြက္သူ(၁၅၀၀)ေက်ာ္တက္ေရာက္မည္ျဖစ္သည္။

Trade Union Training on Labour Law Reforms for Decent Work in Asia Workshop was held in Bangkok on 20th
- 23th May 2014. Ms. Khaing Zar Aung (Secretary of Women's Committee)
and Ms. Eaindra Kyi Tin (Lawyer) from FTUM attended this workshop. The
workshop was based on Decent Work, Labour Laws, Worker's rights and
Collective bargaining. Group discussion and Individual presentations
were performed during this workshop.

IndustriALL Asia and Pacific Women
Conference Which met in Bangkok on 14 May, 2014 discussed various
important issues related workers in our sectors including Safety at
Work, Precarious Work and Organizing, Maternity Protection and Women
Leadership.
About 80 participants from 15 countries (Australia,
Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan,
Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and Switzerland)
attended women conference.

MARLON QUESADA from sask (Trade Union Solidarity Centre of Finland) in Head Office of FTUM. They was proceed about Brief Review of Wood/Forest sector, Problem Identification & Analysis of Unions, Ways of problem solving , Future Plans and Gender & Age Issues.A total (24) members of FTUM was participated from 24 Unions in this meeting.

ITUC ကိုယ္စားလွယ္အဖြဲ႕ဟာ ေဖေဖာ္၀ါရီလ ၁၂ ရက္ကေနၿပီးေတာ့ ၁၆ ရက္ေန႕အထိ ၄ ရက္ၾကာ ျမန္မာျပည္ကို သြားေရာက္လည္ပတ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ကုိယ္စားလွယ္အဖြဲ႕ကို ဦးေဆာင္တဲ့သူကေတာ့ အိုင္အယ္လ္အို လူ႕အခြင့္အေရးနဲ႕ သမဂၢအခြင့္အေရး ဌာနရဲ႕ ညြန္ၾကားေရးမွဴး Mr. Stephen Benedict ျဖစ္ၿပီး ဥပေဒေရးရာအႀကံေပး Mr. Jeffrey Vogt နဲ႕ အာရွ ပစိဖိတ္ေဒသရဲ႕ ေဒသဆိုင္ရာ အႀကီးတန္းအရာရွိ Mr. Patuan Samosir လည္းပါ၀င္ပါတယ္။
ကိုယ္စားလွယ္အဖြဲ႕ဟာ အလုပ္သမားအဖြဲ႕အစည္းဥပေဒ ေပၚထြက္လာၿပီးေနာက္ မွတ္ပုံတင္ၾကတဲ့ အလုပ္သမား သမဂၢေတြျဖစ္တဲ့ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံစက္မွဳဇုန္အလုပ္သမားမ်ားသမဂၢ၊ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံလုံးဆိုင္ရာ လယ္ယာစိုက္ပ်ဳိးေရးနဲ႕ ေတာင္သူလယ္သမားမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ ၊ သတင္းမီဒီယာအလုပ္သမားမ်ားသမဂၢ ၊ ခ်ည္မွ်င္၊အထည္ခ်ဳပ္နဲ႕သားေရ အလုပ္သမားမ်ားသမဂၢ၊ ဒိုက္ဦးၿမိဳ႕နယ္အေထြေထြနဲ႕ သယ္ယူပို႕ေဆာင္ေရး အလုပ္သမားမ်ားသမဂၢ တို႕နဲ႕ ေတြ႕ဆုံခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ၿပီးေတာ့ မၾကာမီက ဦးသိန္းစိန္အစိုးရက လြတ္ေပးလိုက္တဲ့ FTUB ရဲ႕အဖြဲ႕၀င္ေတြ အပါအ၀င္ FTUB ရဲ႕ေခါင္းေဆာင္ျဖစ္တဲ့ ဦးမ်ဳိးေအာင္သန္႕နဲ႕လည္း ေတြ႕ဆုံခဲ့ပါတယ္။
တခါ ITUC ရဲ႕ကိုယ္စားလွယ္အဖြဲ႕က ပဲခူးတိုင္းမွာရွိတဲ့ ပဲခူးတိုင္းေဒသႀကီး အမ်ဳိးသားဒီမုိကေရစီ အဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ရဲ႕ ေခါင္းေဆာင္တစ္ေယာက္ျဖစ္တဲ့ အႀကီးတန္းေရွ႕ေန ဦးျမတ္လွနဲ႕လည္း ေတြ႕ဆုံခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲမွာ ေရွ႕ေနေတြ၊ လယ္သမားေတြ၊ လူငယ္ေတြ ပါ၀င္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲမွာ မၾကာေသးမီက ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံမွာ ျပဌာန္းခဲ့တဲ့ အလုပ္သမားအဖြဲ႕အစည္း ဥပေဒနဲ႕ပတ္သက္ၿပီးေတာ့ ဥပေဒေၾကာင္းအရ ဥပေဒအသုံးအႏွဳန္းနဲ႕ ပတ္သက္ၿပီးေတာ့ ေဆြးေႏြးျခင္းျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
ေဖေဖာ္၀ါရီလ ၁၄ ရက္ေန႕မွာ ကိုယ္စားလွယ္အဖြဲ႕က ေရြျပည္သာ စက္မွဳဇုံကိုသြားေရာက္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ အလုပ္သမား ၀န္ႀကီးဌာနရဲ႕ ဒု၀န္ႀကီး ဦးျမင့္သိန္းက အလုပ္သမားေတြကို အလုပ္သမားအဖြဲ႕အစည္း ဥပေဒနဲ႕ ပတ္သက္ၿပီး ေဆြးေႏြးတာကို သြားေရာက္ေလ့လာခဲ့ပါတယ္။
ေဖေဖာ္၀ါရီလ ၁၅ ရက္ေန႕မွာ ေနျပည္ေတာ္ကိုသြားၿပီး အလုပ္သမား ၀န္ႀကီးဌာနရဲ႕ အမွဳေဆာင္ ဒါရိုက္တာနဲ႕ ေတြ႕ဆုံခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ၿပီးေတာ့ အလုပ္သမားအဖြဲ႕အစည္း ဥပေဒအေၾကာင္း၊ အက်ဥ္းေထာင္ဥပေဒနဲ႕ အလုပ္သမား နည္းဥပေဒမ်ား အေပၚမွာ ေဆြးေႏြးခဲ့ၾကပါတယ္။
ေဖေဖာ္၀ါရီလ ၁၆ ရက္ေန႕မွာ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္နဲ႕ ရန္ကုန္တိုင္း ေရြဂုံတုိင္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္ အမ်ဳိးသား ဒီမိုကေရစီအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ ဌာနခ်ဳပ္မွာ သြားေရာက္ေတြ႕ဆုံခဲ့ပါတယ္။ အမ်ဳိးသား ဒီမိုကေရစီအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ကို ေထာက္ခံ အားေပးတဲ့အေၾကာင္းနဲ႕ ITUC ရဲ႕အေထြေထြအတြင္းေရးမွဴးခ်ဳပ္ Sister Sharan Burrow ကေနၿပီးေတာ့ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္အတြက္ သ၀ဏ္လြာေပးပို႔တာကို ေျပာၾကား ေဆြးေႏြးခဲ့ၾကပါတယ္။
ၿပီးေတာ့ ကုိယ္စားလွယ္အဖြဲ႕ဟာ လိွဳင္သာယာစက္မွဳဇုန္ကိုသြားၿပီးေတာ့ အလုပ္သမားေတြလုပ္ေနတဲ့ လုပ္ငန္းခြင္ကို သြားေရာက္ေလ့လာခဲ့ၾကပါတယ္။

International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) delegation visits Burma

ITUC delegation, in its first ever visit to Burma, met with Trade Unions who had applied for registration, met with released FTUB members, NLD leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Bago divsion NLD leader U Myat Hla and Ministry of Labor.
A delegation from the ITUC visited Burma on 12th to 16th of February 2012. The delegation was headed by Mr. Stephen Benedict, Director of the Human and Trade Union Rights (HTUR) department and also included Mr. Jeffrey Vogt, Legal Advisor of the ITUC and the HTUR, and Mr. Patuan Samosir Senior Officer, Organizing and Projects ITUC Regional Organization for Asia-Pacific (ITUC-AP).
During the visits, the delegation met with the representatives from the Myanmar Industrial Trade Unions (MITU), the Agriculture and Farmers Federation of Myanmar (AFFM), the Journalist Press and Publication Workers' Union (JPPWU) and the Textile and Garment and Leather Workers Union (Bago) and the Daikoo General and Transport Workers Union. They also met with FTUB leader Myo Aung Thant.
They also met with U Myat Hla a senior attorney and leader of the Bago region NLD. Also in the meeting were lawyers, farmers and youth. The discussion was on the legal interpretation on the recently passed Labor Organization Law and past and present functions and interpretations of the labor law in Burma/Myanmar.
On the 14th, they went to Shwe Pyi Thar Industrial Zone to observe Deputy Minister of Labor U Myint Thein talk to workers on the Labor Organization Law.
On the 15th the delegation went by plane went to Naypyidaw and met with the Ministry of Labor headed by the Director General and discussed on the Labor Organization Law, the Prison Code and the Labor Organization Rules .
Returning by car, on the morning of the 16th Stephen Benedict and Jeffery Vogt met with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi at the NLD HQ briefly, presented support for the NLD and a letter from the Sister Sharan Burrow, the General Secretary of the ITUC.
After that the delegation also went to Hlaing Tharyar Industrial Zone to observe the work places.
The delegation left Burma / Mynamar on 16th evening.
